Bonnie Kass, R.N., C.R.N.A., L.E.
In 1993 Bonnie, having practiced nursing and nursing anesthesia
for 20 years, had a long time desire to practice electrology. At
a young age having needed electrolysis herself and understanding
the emotional pain many go through with unwanted hair she decided
to pursue the field of electrology. After contacting the necessary
agencies in the state it became clear that Minnesota does not have
any licensing or training requirements for electrologists, nor was
there any medical overseeing of this field, which she felt was necessary
considering the nature of the procedure. Bonnie undertook upon herself
to receive formal training at the Electrolysis Research Institute
in Wisconsin.
Shortly after, Bonnie established an electrolysis center
focused on determining the causes of unwanted hair and the most
effective treatment. Her goal was to elevate the standard
of practice of electrolysis in the state by placing it in a private,
confidential environment with formally trained and Licensed Electrologists
that adhere to stricter guidelines. This included autoclave sterilization,
disposable needles, and aseptic technique.
In 1997, the Center was one of the first to recognize the benefits
of laser hair removal technology and designated as a training center
by three major laser companies.
One of the first to provide microdermabrasion and ultrasonic therapy,
a world class skin care center was set up under
the direction of one of the foremost leaders and educators in skin
care.

Clinic, Spa Med is unique in offering this advanced
