Botox® Cosmetic

Spa Med offers BOTOX® Cosmetic, a non-surgical cosmetic procedure in which a medical protein called Botulinum A Toxin is injected into the targeted area, most commonly frown lines, lines around the eye (crow’s feet), lines and wrinkles between the brows, upper lip area, and necklines in order to temporarily relax the facial muscles around the area.

Botox injections help smooth and diminish the appearance of the wrinkles in the treated area, creating a more relaxed, youthful appearance.

Because the muscles are unable to contract, Botox may actually prevent new lines and wrinkles from forming.

A series of injections every three to six months can maintain desired results. Anesthesia is not required.

Injections are performed at Spa Med and clients can leave immediately following treatment.

Botox procedures are typically completed within 10 to 15 minutes.

Effects of Botox on the treated areas are usually noticeable within two to five days and it’s effects lasting from two to four months.

There is usually no discomfort and bruising from the injections are rare.

Botox injections cost $12 per unit. Most treatments require 20 - 40 units.
