Microdermabrasion

How does it work?

Using a fine mist of microscopic crystals the outer layer of skin is gently exfoliated and removed by suction, encouraging new elastin and collagen formation. The younger, softer skin moves to the surface effecting significant textural and color changes. An immediate improvement in your skin will be noticeable with these effects increasing over the course of treatments. More predictable results than chemical peels.

What can be treated?

Treats all skin types for fine wrinkles, sun damaged and aging skin, enlarged pores, acne prone skin and acne scars, blackheads and whiteheads.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically a series of treatments is required, at least five. This may vary depending on the reason for treatment. Periodic maintenance combined with a specialized product regimen is recommended for the best results.

What can I expect?

There is typically no downtime. Smoothing of the skin and general overall improvement in the look and feel of your skin is the expected result.

Side Effects

Rarely, swelling and/or blistering can occur. There can be some pinkness, flaking and rarely streaking which resolves within a week.
